As Project Manager, I oversee the two active projects on the NABL team. Both projects are in conjunction with Grant's House, a local non-profit that helps members of the community with various disabilities develop life, interpersonal and professional skills to help them live independently. One of my teams is the continuation of my previous Sensory team, and the other is a team working to create a submersible wheelchair to get people who are non-load bearing from the waist down in and out of zero-entry pools.

 

At the start of the year, I worked with our advising team to head up the onboarding process to get new and returning students integrated into their teams and roles. As the semester progressed I transitioned into a supporting managerial role for my teams, helping generate ideas and designs, working through documentation, and answering questions, while pushing my teams to achieve their goals and meet a high standard
